The Mission

Our mission is to foster a vibrant and inclusive community hub where local producers ignite engagement and empowerment, and where residents and visitors can connect with Atlanta’s premier farmers and fresh food.

Where do I park?

Ample free parking is available in the school parking lot, as well as free street parking along Virginia Ave NE.

Can I bring my dog?

Please note that pets are not allowed on market grounds due to Atlanta Public Schools (APS) regulations.

What forms of payment are accepted?

The VHFM is a cashless market so please be sure to bring your credit card. We are looking to accept SNAP and EBT in the near future.

What happens if it rains?

The market is rain or shine, with exceptions for cancelled markets due to dangerous conditions.

Are restrooms available?

Portable restrooms are available for use on market grounds.

About Virginia Highland District

The mission of the VHFM is to cultivate a thriving marketplace for local farmers and a gathering place for the community to connect over fresh, locally sourced food. Hosted at the Virginia-Highland Elementary School, the market is central for neighbors to bike, walk or drive with ample parking in the school parking lot for visitors.
