The Virginia Highland Farmers Market (VHFM) was established in 2024 by the Virginia Highland District Association (VHDA), led by its board and a dedicated team of volunteers and support staff, to reimagine and revitalize the market experience.

The mission of the VHFM is to cultivate a thriving marketplace for local farmers and a gathering place for the community to connect over fresh, locally sourced food. Hosted at the Virginia-Highland Elementary School, the market is central for neighbors to bike, walk or drive with ample parking in the school parking lot for visitors.
